Teachers - Uta Wolfe: I have lived in Prospect Park for several years, and would like to contribute to an active yoga and meditation community in our neighborhood. I am a certified Yoga teacher with 15 years of experience and specialty training in Mindful Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, and Yoga for Anxiety and Depression. As a faculty member in psychology and neuroscience at the University of St. Thomas, I teach academic classes in yoga, mindfulness, psychology and neuroscience and helped found the university’s Project for Mindfulness and Contemplation in 2013.

Leslie Ball: I’m a certified teacher in Vinyasa, Hot, and Yin formats. I trained at Corepower Yoga in Minneapolis, and at Kripalu Center in Massachusetts. I’m a licensed practitioner of LifeForce Yoga, using Yoga to address depression and anxiety. For six years I’ve been leading Open Yoga, a restorative yoga program incorporating spirituality and the arts into a holistic practice. Open Yoga is an outgrowth of my training at United Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and at New York University (Master of Fine Arts) - along with my decades of experience in the 12-step recovery community. I remain forever grateful for my most immediate teachers: the students in our Open Yoga classes.

Questions welcome. Please contact leslie@leslieball.com.

About donation-based classes - Please pay only what you can comfortably afford. As a point of reference, in the Twin Cities most classes are $15-20 and up; donation-based classes often ask for a minimum of $7.
